750 PS G-Power X6 M Typhoon Is An Unapologetically Brash SUV

As far as SUVs go, the BMW X6 is one of the sportiest to drive, especially the version rolled out by the automaker’s M-Division. In X6 M form, the vehicle possesses 575 PS (567 HP) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque, courtesy of a 4.4-liter twin turbo V8.

Customers looking for more can also opt for G-Power’s Typhoon conversion, which adds wider fenders, a custom front bumper with large intakes, side rocker panels, a new rear bumper and a custom exhaust with four carbon-coated tailpipes.

If money is no option, you’re probably also going to want the optional carbon fiber diffuser and the Venturi hood, for improved aero and engine ventilation. As for wheels, the German tuner will offer you their Jet Black five double spoke Hurricane RR alloys, which in this example measure 23 inches in diameter.

Meanwhile, the individually height-adjustable GX6M-RS coilover suspension lowers the front axle by up to 40 mm (1.57 in) and the rear by 30 mm (1.18 in), which is said to improve handling.

When it comes to straight line performance, the X6 M Typhoon is very well kitted thanks to upgraded turbochargers, custom downpipes and V3 software, in conjunction with the removal of the car’s electronic v-max limiter. The result is a maximum power output figure of 750 PS (740 HP) and 980 Nm (723 lb-ft) of peak torque.

According to G-Power, this X6is capable of exceeding 300 km/h (186 mph), while lighting up the quarter mile in just 11.5 seconds. Not bad for a bulky, heavy SUV. Not bad at all.
